Great seeing your blog start with this def...Janet:<br /><br />Great seeing your blog start with this definition you crafted for our Rethinking Digital Literacy course, and even greater seeing how you are using the blog (at least initially) to carry the learning out of the course site and out into a larger environment where you can continue building upon your own learning, sharing resources with others, and, if all goes well, fostering an ongoing conversation with the possibility of producing meaningful results. This is a wonderful example of digital literacy in action and also serves as a great response to the challenge of taking ownership of your learning by being sure you don't lose resources that otherwise would become inaccessible when a course site closes down.
